At New Insights 2, we believe addiction is a progressive disease that impacts the mind, body, and spirit. We understand addiction is not the client’s fault; however, we believe recovery is their responsibility and must be addressed comprehensively across all levels.
As a second-generation family business, our dedication at New Insights 2 is to reverse addiction through education, treatment, counseling, and restoring individual self-confidence. We are committed to providing a non-threatening, caring environment that fosters success and allows every client to maintain their dignity.
Meet Our Clinical Care Team
Sherry Knouse, MHS, CADC - Project Director -
Daniel Klase, Psy.D., M.Ed. - Addiction Counselor - Daniel is a doctoral level mental health therapist with an extensive background in public and post-secondary education. He has over 20 years of experience working with adults and children within a therapeutic and educational setting. Daniel received his Doctor of Psychology and Addiction and Compulsive Disorders certificate from California Southern University in 2014 and his Master of Educational Psychology from Temple University in 2005. Daniel has been trained in motivation-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), abuse-focused CBT, and trauma-focused CBT. He utilizes an eclectic approach to treatment and favors a Rogerian client-centered approach to therapy.
Daniel is also an adjunct Psychology faculty member in a community college setting.
Christine Neal, BS, CADC - Senior Addiction Counselor - Christine has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Pennsylvania State University. Christine has been working in the addiction field for seven years; she is certified in addiction counseling and currently facilitates individual counseling to those who struggle with addiction and trauma related issues. Christine has previously facilitated Relapse Prevention Group and Women's Trauma Group for several years prior to joining the New Insights 2 Team.
